So far I find the writing way too convoluted for the sake of being convoluted. It reminds me of Cassandra Khaw, which is really not good.
I'll try to go forward some more and see if it gets better, but so far it feels like a book that even as novella is not worth finishing.

I’m about 15% on this. I thought the writing pretty, but it also felt quite dense despite being a novella. It’s one that requires slower reading from me.

Oh, I actually thought you had read this all!I got to I think 13%, I can't. I find it slow, but not pretty, I also don't really find myself interested in the story.
