SIT FINIS LIBRI, NON FINIS QUAERENDI

"Human nature has a way of making very specious arguments to suit its own cowardice and lack of generosity."

Above all this book has made me ask, "what does it truly mean to pursue God? To live out your life for Christ while treasuring Christ?"

"even if he was not an angel, he was much more than that if you apply Christ’s own standard about whatsoever you have done to the least of His little ones."

"It is a kind of pride to insist that none of our prayers should ever be petitions for our own needs: for this is only another subtle way of trying to put ourselves on the same plane as God—acting as if we had no needs, as if we were not creatures, not dependent on Him and dependent, by His will, on material things too."
