Shouldn’t the body be not dull and yellow if it has been dead in the cold and chill winter for few hours only?
The body would have definitely been okay. No one’s looking gangrenous that soon, maybe because of hypothermia but won’t hypothermia affect the alive, not the dead.

Okay I went to places on the internet and it said cold temperature would slow down discolouration, but my guess is she would still look pale and grey, definitely not gangrenous though.

There’s a lot of information online on corpses especially in writer communities. Kind of makes me happy, writers having their support groups and communities.
