So far, the reader is constantly pulled from the story and characters so the narrator can float to another scene by means of a story telling device that reads more like camera directions. Ugh!

This first/third person omniscient narrator gimmick is absolutely horrible. Reviews state that the second half of the book is much more entertaining, but at 1/4 of the way through the book, I am struggling through only o that I can read the third book without missing part of the story.
