I swear I didn't know what I was signing up for. This is a very sour start for me, as it feels like I'm reading a children's book, and for a contemporary novel said to be meant for those my age and younger (or even older). The prose is immature and makes it seem like we're wading into a melodrama. Although being a brat about it, Noah finally has a life of good fortune. Too bad Nick is an asshole.
