This book is a gem. It not only helps to incrementally walk a student through the basics of calculus/physics, it allows for discussion relating to the literacy of humankind when we don’t understand the history, growth, and development of the tools we use. What is literacy and education?Are we truly educated when we are ignorant of how we arrived here?

I'm enjoying reading it also. I love seeing the connections too other things we've studied in the past and it's also helping me understand the why of what I learned in high school.
