Jacks changed Honey Pie to Evangeline’s Famous Hollow Pie on the clock.
“I take it you approve

“Then what do they stand for

There are no tears in my eyes… they’re just wattery…

“I’ve been worried about the same thing, but I was too scared to mention it.”
“Why?”
“Probably for the same reasons you were.”
“You didn’t have to be scared. Just as there’s no world than can keep you from me, there is no world where I would ever lose you to something like age or time. You are mine, Little Fox, until my heart stops beating.”

They passed the tests. And they just get 2 cookies in the shape of a broken heart.

“Oh, Jacks. I’m so sorry I went through the mirror.”
“It’s all right, Little Fox. I’ve got you now. I’m not letting you go.”

SHE GETS BACK TO LUC BUT WANTS TO FRESHEN UP AND THINK ABOUT WHAT SHE WANTS. And then “you have found the Mirror of Infinite Endings”

“I’d like to see what else could be.”

“I should go. Goodbye, Jacks.”
“Goodbye, Little Fox.”
Evangeline stopped short at the nickname.
Jacks seemed surprised as well. His brows jumped, as if the words had just come out, as if he hadn’t meant to say them.
And Evangeline wished he hadn’t. It just gave her one more thing that she knew she would miss.

“You need to leave,” he rasped.
“Then why are you holding me here?”
“Because I’m not a good person.”

“Sweetheart,” Evangeline finally interrupted. “Who is this?”
Donatella’s mouth fell open.
“Who is this hussy?”
“I’m his fiancée.”
“No. I’m his fiancée!” Donatella’s cheeks burned brighter, and then she lunged forward, as if to rip Evangeline’s hand from Jacks’s leg.
Jacks stopped Donatella in one lighting-quick move, grabbing her wrist. “Do. Not. Touch. Her.”

“Who told you that having the black jack means you win?”
“I don’t understand why you’re upset. You won.”
“I’m not heartless. My heart just doesn’t work very well. And while I do take pleasure in a lot of things that would probably appall you, I take no delight in beating people who have no idea what they’re doing.”
