It’s as though I’m reading a tea partier ignoring reality to idealize the past in hopes we might return thereto. Ms Lepore was so strong on the history of the constitution… and as weak on what ai is and is not (“ai is not a weapon,” she quotes and endorses). She makes points of comparison against counterfactuals, and she ignores reality. This book is bizarre.
