Ed's mother is an ungrateful old miserable hag!

Ed follows her home and as he gets to her house it takes him straight back to his childhood memories. He lies down looking up and Ma comes up asking what is he doing here. Ed wants to know why she mistreats him out of all of her kids and her responds breaks him saying that Ed reminds her too much of his Father because of him always doing good by her and his Dad making a promise that he would give her a better life.

Ed sees Audrey stop by on his front porch and Audrey tells him that she feels like Ed is being distant. So they both spend togehter at his place getting drunk. In the middle of the night, a man with gold rimmed colored eyes stops by and tells him to go to this italian restaurant called Melusso's. There Ed finds his Mother on a date with a man.

One night the Dad/husband sees Ed peeking around and gets confrontational at first, but then lets him in and he gets along with the kids and wife. Lua and Marie seem to be in need of some lights for christmas and Ed helps them out. Lua and Marie both return the favor by giving him a christmas homemade gift card and a stone for good luck charm.

Ed is now on his way to Glory Road for his next message delivery. He stops by and sees that there's a big working man that treats his family like royalty. He makes a presumption that they are trying to make ends meat.

Ed Kennedy, Marv, Audrey and Ritchie are playing cards together. Marv decides to celebrate upcoming christmas by throwing a party only under one condition that Ed gets a present for his doorman.

Ed feels as though that he deserves some type of reward for having to help people in their daily lives. He is watching movies with Audrey one day and sees her drinking a beverage and he is mesmerized by her red lips and kisses her on them. Audery didnt seem to mind.

Now, Ed Kennedy heads to the library to look up the list of authors names who are his next people to help. He reads all of their books and finds a clue where they live as he dig deep for the messages and symbols that are on each of the authors book pages and that is how he finds their number addresses.

Ed and his friends have this annual sledge game where that play soccer barefooted and they won. Ed waas voted the best player. After the game Ed sees a young woman giving an ace of spades to a kid named Jay and the dog is with him. Ed tuggles with him for the card and decides to give him 20 dollars for it. Ed find out who the three people are that he has to go see after having a dream.
