04/11/26- Mowgli found people after being cast out by the wolves and attempted to learn their culture and failing miserably. Eventually he heres word of Shere Khans approach and with Akela and Gray Brother rounds up buffalos to kill him in a stampede. He skins him, is cast out from the humans and reinstates Akela as alpha. He leaves the wolf pack and lives his life with his brothers. Interesting change from film.

20/10/26- basically the animals of the jungle HATE the monkeys (Bander-log) like verging on racism. Kaa is cool and unlike the movie makes no attempt to kidnap or eat Mowgli instead saving him from the monkeys. It’s weird having parts where Bagheera and Baloo beat Mowgli.

16/10/26- very shakespearean and unusually dark, not the cheery kids book like the movie. Mowgli literally threatened to kill and skin Shere Khan. Love Bagheera
