so people on goodreads who have read danmei, i already have read 2 (a serie and the first one in a serie) but what is the best danmei to start with? like how should i have begun?

a lot of people start with mxtx but u can just read whatever seems interesting. there is no right way to start.

I agree there, just follow whatever calls for you! Browse the catalogues and selection and titles and you certainly find something that will catch your eye ( ´∀｀ )/ Theres no right and wrong

i started with yuwu (remnants of filth) and i LOVED it
Mxtx's works are the best for starting like Heaven officials blessing, or grandmaster of demonic cultivation. If you want to read more modern danmei then there is Run wild. These are on the simpler side and good for warming up
I personally struggle with MXTXS writing style… i am still stuck on the second volume of Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. On the other hand I inhaled The Husky and His White Cat Shizun, absolute cinema. Remnants of Filth was good too!
