There’s good substance here, still, and there were parts of what I’m wanting in this past chapter— comparing Dylan to Virgil and Eliot, etc. but it droned off towards the end. I feel like it’s partially unfair to make “droning” judgements until I’ve finished the book. However, every time I feel rewarded for reading, that feeling is immediately stripped away. We’ll see how we go.
