quite interesting people’s dismissive attitude and inability to visualize the fatalities of any given tragedy, the explanation for people’s lack of empathy to said events is quite applicable to the general population’s attitude to tragedy in the media today as it is nearly impossible to comprehend the sheer magnitude of the dead so there is no empathy therefore no feeling hence nothing is done about the tragedy
