he is rich and he is bored! the horror!!! i don't know when was the last time i read a book that had both such interesting sections and then bored me to death at times. to play a devil's advocate with myself, maybe that was the whole point of a mock biography. hm.

for now i'm sceptical ab this one, but i hope it'll pick up after the 1st switch. it's easy to understand why she eased up on the prose a bit for the purposes of the style of the book, but i do gotta say i miss the narrative flare of mrs dalloway
