I love this book with it's European influence. Written so well in the style I prefer where the author guides you through the recipes as if she was standing in your kitchen baking with you. I am absolutely trying the Fruitcake Shortbread as I love both items. Being English I know they can both be delicious but fruitcake always seems to scare away American's which I think is because they haven't tried the real thing.
