The writing is getting much better again, but Hearn seems to have middling trust in the readers comprehension

The story is so interesting, and the writing style for most of it has been phenomenal. In the middle, I fear the writer lost themselves a little, there is too much exposition and rushed emotions.
I am absolutely loving it though
