Man I knew it, I knew Cyra Hyland from the vision was truly evil. Now what in the world is that woman doing that’s causing all this trouble. Ugh there’s so much book left and then a whole nother one after which means it’s only gonna get worse and worse 😫

One prop I do want to point out is that in the first book, a lot of the fantasy lore and details felt a bit misplaced or thrown out there but the way that everything is tying together in this second book is much smoother. Everything tracks and it feels like these elements are actually building towards a specific point.

Idk who Kaven thinks she is but she better straighten things up w Lorna real quick. We’re not abt to be losing characters for the sake of the plot. I need the whole team safe and sound in the finale, thank you kindly.

I genuinely don’t even remember when Nova came into the picture but my goodness am I grateful for her cuz I was not ready for the whole crew to meet their end just now 😭🙏🏾

I was hoping bat vision Idalia had abt her Hyland ancestor was a cute little love story but I’m starting to think her ancestor turned on that man and started his centuries long conflict and maybe she’s the one that’s gonna be the world ending threat that Idalia needs her magic to fight

“I did what you asked” (pdf 117). I’m calling it: Eveline was the one right murder Idalia’s mom and start the conflict

Ok my prediction is that Idalia has some type of specific magic that she has not yet harnessed but she inherited from being a Hyland and she could use it to break the curse but if she doesn’t advance her abilities she will lose it and there will be some type of world ending threat. And I think the key to unlocking it all is her love with Braizen!!!
