The start was really hard to follow because VW keeps jumping between the thoughts of all the different characters. Some sentences take up literally an entire page and I understand that she does this because it reflects a stream of consciousness, but it’s not easy to read. I’m following the book analysis on sparknotes at the same time so that I don’t get lost. Slowly getting easier to read now.
