That's when I see it.
A tiny pair of..ears pop up in her bag.
I stare at the ears, then at Ava, then back to the ears, then back at Ava before closing my eyes, rubbing a hand down my face, and taking a deep breath.
"What the fuck is that?" I ask, as I stare at the bag over her shoulder where the head of a tiny cat with bent ears is poking out, big eyes wide, looking around like this isn't weird at all.

"One thing," I say.
"What's that?"
"Don't fall in love with me, big guy, okay?" I ask, reaching up and patting his cheek. His jaw goes tight.
"I promise that won't be a problem."
"Is that a challenge?"
For the first time, he smiles back. From here, I
see one dent in his cheek. A dimple.
"Do your worst, Princess."

"See ya later, big guy, You know, you'd be a lot hotter if you were just a smidge." I hold up my pointer finger and thumb, pinching them so there's a tiny gap between my fingers. "Less grumpy."
"Noted," he says, and even though he fights it, I can see it: the tiniest hint of a smile, the whisper of it on the edges of his lips.
"Get home safe, princess."

While Passenger Princess is a romcom (and honestly it might be one of my favorites yet!) it does touch on a few topics such as: a stalking, unwanted touch from a stranger, explicit sexual situations, foul language, and a fight scene with hair tools.

I’m going to love this
