this is so good! the writing / setting are reminiscent of victorian gothic vampire novels

it's very s l o w but i feel like it has a victorian classic sort of essence because of that? i'm liking the spooky atmosphere of strange things are happening - is it our imagination? is it spirit? or perhaps a nightly creature that doesn't have a name yet?

the writing is not my favourite but i love vampires and i'm intrigued to read how bram stoker was inspired to write dracula (one of my favourite books)
