I was reading this before I went overseas, and as I didn't take it with me, it fell by the wayside. I finally picked it up again this morning and the timing seems right. I'm up to India, and meditation seems a lot like mindfulness, which I want to practice more.

Reading because I'm going on a lone overseas trip myself, in about a month! I feel like I've read this before, it's very familiar, but I don't remember reading it (nor is it marked as such on goodreads)! Perhaps it was just the first few pages, as it's getting less familiar now. I like her description of depression & loneliness (p. 48).
