Edgar tried to get a better look at the crime but it appears that he had a hallucination of the corpse coming to life. When he wakes up he is being taken care of by a doctor and he gets the news that he supposedly started a fire in the area of the body which makes the police think he was trying to burn the evidence. This is a very intense book.
