The way Alexander talks is pretentious and annoying. He's attractive until he opens his mouth.

Forcing myself to read this. I sincerely hope it gets better...

The heroine is an asshole, but this tidbit makes a bit more sense as to why. That and the fact that she does have mental issues. Her parents exacerbate it. Everything exacerbates it.

“The amount of sympathy you get from having an illness is paid out like a Ponzi scheme and psychiatric disorders are at the bottom.”
