The book ended at 89%, but I still enjoyed it

The author has touched on an important point that incident even consider. Carla has lost her entire family, all in a few days. It's distressing to realise

I'm enjoying this a lot. Both characters are good, well rounded. And there is no unnecessary angst. Which is a good thing.
People might say Carla is too accepting, but frankly, she's just doing what she can to survive. I appreciate that from her

What a strange strange man. And woman. Although, the world has actually been very well written. I don't know the US very well, but I can pretty much guess they are in the middle of nowhere.
All in all, it's rather engaging and enjoyable

So far, both have been understanding. I can realise that these people have met nobody like the other, and so have ended up with strange conversations

At least she admits there were TSTL heroines in novels. I'm glad, because this people piss me off
