I think India is mad now since Vanessa told her that some girl they went to school with has a kid with someone named Sump. That is India's husband's name. She is all mad because she doesn't know to believe if he has another child besides their children. In the text it says, " Once she got home she didn't even speak to Sump, which was a key sign of her being vexed."

This book is from third person. I know this because it is not in first person, and if it was it would use my and I. The book doesn't do that. In the text, it says,"After India left she dropped Nala off and headed home."
