I'm seven pages deep in this sci-fi thill ride. Currently main protagonist who's name I've forgotten is walking on alien-bear-farmer-planet. He has contemplated having to teach the dang bears to dig with spade shovels, plot hole, as he was flying over he described how their fields are plowed. This is a much more effective method of farming than using a shovel. Looking forward to how this develops.
