and so far the book is delivering a rollicking adventure. I would like to strangle the main character on occasion (17 and obnoxious) but she's realistically obnoxious, not spunky-YA-heroine obnoxious. The worldbuilding is fascinating and the supporting characters intriguing. As long as it doesn't go pear-shaped in the next 200 pages, it's a win.
