Bear is a lazy puppy who is suppose to be sled dog. When Lizzy and the Petterson's come to Vermont there are two girls (Cordella and Maria) who take care of Bear. Lizzy decides to foster him while they are there on vacation. He really is a good sled dog, he just learned differently and they just needed to find alternative ways to teach him. If you like dogs like me or like dog books, you really like this book.
