There have been some instances where a chapter wasn't needed again, too much fluff/filter, However, looking at my progress I was shocked how far along I have come, mainly because it has been action packed again which helps the story to move and become a page turner. Huge improvement from the previous novel. I really wish Nadler wrote like this throughout the series; only about three books have had that hook for me.

Finished on 07/17/17. The cliffhanger was good, but not great like others in the past. It needed a little bit more power behind it; however, I am downloading the next book to read it as soon as possible.

I really liked the future story of David's 16th birthday. I can't tell if some of these are real or dreams; of course, the ones that mention them as dreams are obviously dreams. This was one of the best flash-forwards to date, even if it felt a little incomplete.

I noticed this before but didn't mention it - in reference to soda, Nadler uses the word "pop." I don't mind it as I know it means the same thing; it's just something I haven't used frequently in awhile (I'm also on the east coast)
