I'm waiting for the meat of this story to come together. So far I'm bored with the author's need to explain to us what things cost in the 30s, what Passover is, and direct quotes he gives from people who are now dead in the middle of paragraphs where he is talking in first person, retelling a story he has heard growing up as a kid affected by this tragedy. Did I mention the third grade level at which he writes?
