I just finished the first side of tape one and I really wish I had read the book before watching the series. It's upsetting that I can't picture the characters in my head, because I already know who plays them in the series. I'm happy that the book is done in one night, as opposed to what feels like weeks in the series. At this moment, Clay's character isn't fully developed, so I'm hoping it's better as I move on.
