The 5th grade girl I read this with was very amused by Quinny's sisters. Pee -U- Piper sticks a licky wet finger in Quinny's ear when she is sleeping. Quinny's other sister, icky-sticky-screamy Cleo is a biter. She also likes the use of very, very, extra very throughout the book.
Quinny learns what a real friend is, and how to stay true to yourself and appreciate your individuality.
