6. Denaturalizing cultural nationalism by Sneja Gunew. The essay wasn't easy at all for me, it deals with Australian literature and the search to depict their national identity between Britishness and multiculturalism.

4. Irresistible romance by Doris Sommer. Quite interesting essay about the deliberate use of literary narrative to consolidate a new nation and write its history.

I'm trying to reread this book more systematically.1. Narrating the nation was the title of the first essay by Homi Bhabh himself, I honestly found it uncomfortable to read, it was too snobbish for my test. 2. What's a nation? By Ernst Renan. I found the essay very passionate, and an excellent pick to start the book with.
