He was a liar. He was a criminal. He was possibly a dognapper. And he was leaving. None of it mattered. Simon still wanted to drag him into his lap and kiss him until he stopped being an idiot.

This is just so good. I have so many highlights that are amazing but the whole book is amazing.

Jacob snorted down the phone at him. “I usually get paid for this, you know.”

“I usually don’t fuck liars,” Simon said. “So we’re all trying something new this year.”

Seriously. These two have so much passion and they aren't even "together" right now but they are just fooling themselves.
