Brian Eshleman Does it give you much of a feel for the times in which he left? Good sports biographies can do that, but I find that bad ones are like reading the back of somebody's baseball card.

Steve Conradt Hi Brian, I'm only 100 pages in to "Spoke" and up to now, it does have " bit of that "reading a baseball card" feel. There's some historical perspective, but not as much as you might like. It has not been a "can't put it down" type of book for me but I'll finish it as I'm working on a goal of reading a biography of each one of the HOF"s original inductees. Hope my comments help you out.
