I've paused with this until I read some Henry James (on whose work the next section is centred).

Just started the second section, 'Gatsby', now that I've finished reading Fitzgerald's book (for the first time...loved it!). The other two sections are based on Henry James and Jane Austen, neither of whom I've read, either.

Very much enjoying this book, which I picked up in Melbourne after I read Christopher Hitchens' autobiography. They were near contemporaries and certainly shared a penchant for rebellion.
