I do not believe I'll be able to continue. And it's not even the betrayal that has me in this position - it's that plus the part where everything thinks the betrayee is the one to apologize, and the part where there's this long drawn out tease - they finally date, they go back to bed and - no break, not even a double space between paragraphs, and it's a month later. WTF? Seriously, WTF?

The book cover? Going by the definition of a cottage ('a small simple house, typically one near a lake or beach.'), yes. The main character lives in a small house near a beach/ocean. It's possible that you might be able to see the edge of beach behind the cottage. I'd have to expand the picture larger to see. But is possible.
