Young Werther has allowed himself to fall passionately in love with Charlotte who is engaged to be married to Albert, a local favorite amongst the ruling gentry. Werther describes himself as being sick in love.

I am currently reading a novel titled "The Sorrows of Young Werther" by Goethe; I am learning a lot about humanity and its emotions. I appreciate this because I am very interested in understanding the emotions of humanity.
