You know it is a good book when you are sorry to have it end. I've enjoyed other books by Lynn Austin, but none as much as this one. It tells the story of 4 generations - and the continuing thread of God's goodness and grace throughout in spite of flawed characters, regrettable choices, unforeseen tragedies.
