Albert Magnus: "We must say that we affirm things of God only relatively, that is, causally, whereas we deny things of God absolutely, that is, with reference to what he is in himself. And there is no contradiction between a relative affirmation and an absolute negation."

This should probably raise the eyebrows of any student of Buddhist philosophy.
