His writing just has a sort of hypnotic quality to it that just traps you, and takes you along for the ride. I've been putting off reading it because I don't think I can stop in the middle of an essay. Finally had time to sit down and read a few tonight!
I agree. His writing requires, even demands, undivided attention. I've waited until the end of my semester to start another of his novels which I'll do later today or tomorrow. Enjoy!
