It took me a bit of time to warm up to this, and it's probably for the best that I'm reading it for book club, or I'd likely have quit by now. This is in no way meant to reflect on the quality of the book or the story, but more my interest level - I'm not usually into sci fi unless there's some sexy payoff, I guess :P
