What a fantastic series! The first book is a novella of about 60 pages. It got me hooked on the series, and I read the books back to back. Humans live underground because they have destroyed the surface of the earth. They are ruled by fear of being sent outside, which is the ultimate punishment. To tell any more would spoil all the surprises. I would recommend this to anyone, even those who are not fans of sci-fi.

Just can't stop reading. Thank goodness for babysitters!

I read Wool 1, and immediately bought the whole series. That tells you something!
