The author has structured the book in a way that makes the reading process rather unenjoyable. The content is quite valuable but it's annoying to lead with whatever perspective is most relevant in the initial establishment of an idea and then either refute or embellish on it in the second half of the chapter. It may make sense from a chronological perspective, not from an ideological one.
