I'm really liking this book. The stories are all adventurous and fascinating to read, giving a nice impression of life in the Bay Area around 1900.
Most are water related, about boats, fishing patrols etc. But there are also some others, for example the "Dr. Jekyll and Hyde"-like story "When the world was young".
