It's lines like "If we don't stick to the plan, we'll all die - and that would suck. Big time." that irk me. Very immature.

Grr. The prologue made me cringe. Between the mixing of first person and third person narrative and the repetitive words, we're off to a rocky start. (Yes, I also am bitter that I started a series that the author just won't end.)
