Jesus. Brutal would be too kind of a word to describe Shari. She's like a cross between Azula from ATLA and Geoffrey from GoT. The Blue Bitch lives up to her name.

I haven't read many books, but usually I expect a book to pick up on action scenes or epic battles later on. I have been pleasantly surprised and loving it.
