Ughhhh~~ it's so obvious sometimes how differently beings and humans see the world and communicate and stuff. Like, Tulip is trying to say he's not good enough for David, and all David is catching is that he works so hard. Ughhhh

One thing I'm especially loving in this book is examinations of intersectionality and what it means to be an ally and stuff. I also feel like Firebird helped tying this together more thoroughly.
