im so close to finishing this but i just have to say: my favorite fact about this book is that prostitutes were literally so fucking tired of men and how they treated them that they started a revolution by cutting off a pimp's dick and then demanded safer working conditions and shit for themselves and now even men with rocks between their ears know not to hurt or mess with them. which is, dare i say, Iconic.
