Meh. Shame has moved into determinedly apathetic. So we’ve gone through too much of an asshole to care about, too stupid to live and we’re now into - if he doesn’t care, why should I? Not sure if I’ll continue.

Well, he did improve, but now he’s wandered firmly into too stupid to live territory. Which, honestly is where he was from the beginning, but it was covered up by how much of an asshole he was - I was happy with stupid choices because then he might go away.

Really not a fan of the main character. He’s rubbing me the wrong way. I understand opening a series with the character at rock bottom, but if he doesn’t start getting likes me, I’m not likely to continue reading.
